Hello and welcome to the Guardian Mental Health blog! My name is Amy Wright, and I am excited to share my journey and the launch of my counseling practice with you.
After spending over a decade as a paramedic, I’ve had the privilege of serving my community in high-pressure situations, witnessing both resilience and the toll that trauma can take on individuals. These experiences ignited my passion for mental health, leading me to transition into a role where I can provide support and guidance to those navigating their own challenges.
At Guardian Mental Health, my mission is to create a compassionate, welcoming space where individuals can feel safe to explore their feelings and experiences. I specialize in trauma-informed care, focusing on supporting clients dealing with PTSD, first responders, and those grappling with religious trauma. I understand the unique challenges faced by these individuals, and I am committed to walking alongside them on their path to healing.
Why choose Guardian Mental Health? My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, combining my background in emergency response with therapeutic techniques designed to promote emotional resilience. I believe that everyone’s healing journey is unique, and I aim to provide personalized support tailored to each individual’s needs.
In this blog, I will share insights on mental health topics, coping strategies, and tips for navigating the journey of healing. I hope to foster a community where we can open dialogues about mental health, reduce stigma, and empower one another toward greater wellness.
I invite you to join me on this journey. Whether you’re seeking counseling or looking for resources to support your mental health, Guardian Mental Health is here for you. Feel free to reach out through the contact page to schedule a session or ask any questions you may have.
Thank you for being here, and I look forward to walking this path together.
With warmth and compassion,
Amy Wright, LPCC
